Still Life: Releases Feb. 26, 2021
Scratch Wave Media Still Life is my second solo album. It is a five track album with the three primary tracks focusing on different field recordings of "wind and leaves" (1), "rain" (3), and "birds" (5). Electronic textures merge from these field recordings, each one being treated in a slightly different way. These primary tracks are split from each other by two "interludes," which also merge found sound recordings with electronic textures.
Glass Nature: Releases Feb. 12, 2021
Scratch Wave Media Glass Nature is a seven track album featuring short solo piano works that I wrote for and are performed by pianist and co-founder of Scratch Wave, Stephanie Yu. All but the first track were composed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
